Nira Café & Bistro

A café has different wear than a house: chairs scrape, tables take heat, walls get leaned on. The brief was furniture and wall faces that could be wiped and replaced if a panel failed, not gallery pieces.

We planned seating around the service path. Tables were sized to the room and to how many covers the operator wanted, then made here.

Printed wall panels used the same kind of board as the furniture so the room did not split into “print shop” and “carpenter”. Artwork was reviewed on the material before print.

Install happened in a window the operator could live with. Loose chairs they already owned stayed; we matched timber colour as far as a sample allowed.
